Introducing Bordair Lite - $3.99/mo for solo builders

Today we're adding a new paid tier: Bordair Lite. $3.99 a month.

Lite sits between Free (200 scans a week) and Individual ($19/mo, 10,000 a week). It's for the in-between: a single AI feature in a side project, a weekend build that started getting real traffic, a personal tool you want to harden against injection without committing to a full prod-scale plan.

What you get for $3.99

• 1,500 scan credits per week - 7.5× the free tier, enough for a small app to run comfortably with headroom.
• 50 scans per minute - more than double Free's 20/min burst limit.
• Full multimodal scanning - text, images, documents, and audio. Credits still cost the usual amounts (1 for text, 10 for images, 15 for docs/audio), but nothing is gated out of Lite.
• Castle Kingdom 5 unlocked - our adversarial prompt-injection game. Kingdom 5 was previously locked behind higher tiers; Lite unlocks it.
• Email support - reply to any Bordair email and it reaches us.
• +10 bonus magic on first paid upgrade, same as every other paid tier.

What Lite doesn't include

Transparency on the line items that stay on Individual and above:

• Output scanning rules - regex rules to block, redact, warn on, or log LLM output. Individual ($19) is still the entry point for that.
• 99.9% uptime SLA - unchanged, Business-plan only.
• Priority routing / support queue - Business only.
• Semantic layer (coming soon) - Business and Enterprise.

Why we added it

The most common feedback we got on pricing was the same thing: "I want to pay, but $19 is a leap for a side project." Lite is the answer. It's priced to be an obvious upgrade from the free tier the moment you start shipping to real users, and it gets out of the way until you genuinely need output scanning or higher throughput.

It also makes our comped free-month-of-Business offer a softer landing - when the month ends, Lite is now a more reasonable "don't drop all the way back to Free" option.
